I am not too familiar with this website/computer program, but it sounds like it would be extremely helpful for teachers and students of all ages. After clicking on a few of the links that took me to examples of lesson plans in different subject areas, I noticed a great deal of flow charts and graphs. I am unsure if the website offers other materials for teachers to use because the users need to sign up and d/l programs. Let me just say that I have had enough viruses in the past, so I will not be d/l any programs from this website.
It seems that the flow charts would be great for supplemental materials for high school students because, at times, some of the Asian dynasties are very difficult to follow in terms of the leaders or emperors. Does anyone have any other suggestions for how these could be implemented in the classroom?

I actually questioned the use of Inspiration in an 8th grade math class as well. I would also appreciate any advise as how you would use Inspiration for math class. We do not have technology available in the classroom for students to use. Also, I was wondering if anyone had a problem with Inspiration and Kidspiration. After I downloaded both to my computer for review, my computer became very slow and my digital camera software was basically corrupted. I had to remove both programs. Has anyone else experienced any of the same problems?
I dont know if you have taken a look at the Kidspiration video that was in module 4, but it is a very cool demonstration to have. After you download, there is a math, reading , social studies, and science application that you can apply if you so choose to. It really is not that bad. I have found that it can actually get a student familiar with the computer by using kidspiration. It is very unique.
I did not download any of the programs for the reason of possibly slowing down the speed of my computer. I usually wait for other people's comments about a certain program before I download it. See if you can remove the program from the My Computer function on your computer.
